What I Care About
I care about this community. We all love Little Compton’s rural character, and we’ve successfully preserved much of the land that makes our town so bucolic and special. But the high cost of real estate is changing our demographics and impacting our labor force and social fabric. We see a declining school population, families and seniors priced out of their homes and the closure of year-round businesses. Those people and institutions are just as much a part of our rural character as the hayfields and beaches. As Town Councilor my focus will be to support programs and policies that benefit our whole community: young and old, rich and poor, and everyone in between.
Housing Affordability
Let’s promote and support programs and policies that increase housing affordability for year-round working families and seniors.

Diversity
Let’s welcome diversity of all kinds and foster an inclusive and caring community.
Sakonnet Times 6/11/24 “Though it can't be flown at Little Compton Town Hall, members of the United Congregational Church of Little Compton raised the Progress Pride Flag in recognition of Pride Month just prior to Saturday's Pride celebration in front of the Wilbur & McMahon School. The flag was raised after the congregation voted unanimously last August to become an "Open and Affirming Church" and welcome and affirm the worth of all people.”
Public Schools
Let’s support our high-performing schools, upholding standards of excellence and protecting students' rights to learn from a broad curriculum.
Natural Resources
Let’s protect and preserve our town’s natural resources, shorelines, working farms, and open spaces for the enjoyment of people. Let’s support climate resiliency efforts and the use of renewable energy and technology, reducing energy usage and costs for our public buildings.
Seniors
Let’s address the needs of our senior residents, keeping them connected to the community and enhancing senior services.
